How an NFC business card works, step by step
Every TapLoop card has a small NFC chip built in. When you tap it to the back of a smartphone, the phone reads the chip and opens a link to your digital business card: an online profile with your contact info, links, and social media. No app, no download, and no pairing required.
Not every phone reads NFC automatically, so each card also includes a printed QR code. Scanning it with the phone's camera opens the exact same digital profile, so an NFC business card works the same way whether the other person taps or scans.
Once the profile opens, the other person can save your contact straight to their phone, message you on WhatsApp, visit your social media, or book a meeting, all from a single page. You can edit your information, photo, and links anytime from the TapLoop platform without reprinting or replacing the physical card.

What is an NFC business card?+

What's the difference between an NFC card and a digital business card?+
The NFC card is the physical card; the digital business card is the online profile it opens. TapLoop combines both, so tapping or scanning the card opens your editable digital business card instantly.
Do I need a special phone to use an NFC business card?+
Most phones made after 2018 support NFC tap-to-share. If a phone doesn't support NFC, scanning the QR code opens the same digital business card.
Does the other person need to install an app?+
No. The digital profile opens directly in the phone's browser via NFC or QR code.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?+
